Ex-watch factory plant sold

ELGIN - Chicago-based RealtyMetrix LLC recently closed on the sale of 366-368 Bluff City Blvd in Elgin from Swint Investments to Bluff City Elgin LLC. Linda Kost and Dave Schmidt from RealtyMetrix were exclusive brokers and represented both the buyer and seller in this transaction. The 62,000 square-foot industrial building is the former Elgin Watch Factory Plant Number 2 and was built in 1920. It currently houses eight tenants, including Ben's Metal Recycling, and is 75 percent leased. About 15,000 square feet of warehouse/manufacturing space is available for lease at $5.00 per square foot modified gross. First Community Bank in Elgin provided financing.
