Auditions for 'Rocky Horror Picture Show' at Palatine's Cutting Hall this week

Community theater actors: practice your lines, warm up your singing voice and get ready to do the time warp again because auditions to be in Theater Nebula's production of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" start next week.

According to their website, www.theatrenebula.org, the public is invited to audition for all of the characters in the show, a theatrical version of the iconic cult movie hit,

Would-be Frank 'N' Furters, Brads and Janets are asked to bring a headshot, resume and 32 bars of an "up-tempo rock song that shows off" their range. Reserve your audition time slot for Tuesday and Wednesday night on the theatre company's website.

Future audience members: the show is scheduled to start its run at 8 p.m. Oct. 17 at the Cutting Hall Performing Arts Center, 150 E. Wood St. in Palatine.
