Common sense absent in some laws

The Supreme Court does not recognize an unborn child as a human life and it's a woman's right to make this decision. I completely disagree, and not only from a religious view.

First of all, the Supreme Court ruled that a woman has the right to her own body. As a man, I'm being discriminated against. I can't sell my organs if I wanted to or even if I had dying need. As an American, I should reserve the right to choose. Where's the equality? Or even better, where is the fairness? Let's move on, to another oxymoron.

Second, an unborn child is not considered a human life according to the Supreme Court. However, there have been a number of cases when a pregnant woman was murdered with an unborn child and somehow those cases were considered a double homicide by the courts. We can't have our cake and eat it too. Does an unborn child have rights or not? The court system considers this a crime, while at the same time it's glorified as the legal "rights" of a woman. The fact that the murder of unborn child is considered a homicide by the courts, than it should be recognized as a human life.

We have a tendency to rely on legislation to guide us in basic common sense and morality. This lampoon of legal logic is indicative of the government dictating morality. I guess, if something becomes legal, than it becomes moral was well. Everyone wants honesty, but fears the truth. This is not about equal rights, this is about fairness. This not about religious freedom, it's about government intrusion. Laws should never be a substitute for common sense.
