Nonprofits encouraged to apply for funding opportunities through Palatine Township

Palatine Township is currently accepting applications from area social service agencies and organizations to receive funding in early March of 2016. The forms necessary to apply for this funding are available at the Palatine Township website at www.palatinetownship.com/funding-request-forms.

Forms must be submitted by 4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 25, to be considered.

Once completed applications are received, the Human Needs Committee will schedule 15-minute time slots for agency presentations, and hearings will be open to the public. Hearings will be held starting at 8:30 a.m. and run until approximately noon on Saturday, Oct. 3, and Saturday, Oct. 10, at the Palatine Township Hall, 721 S. Quentin Road, in Palatine.

The completed forms can be sent to Anna Chychula, Administrative Assistant at achychula@PalatineTownship.com or via mail to Anna Chychula at Palatine Township, 721 S. Quentin Road, Palatine, IL 60067 and received no later than the deadline at 4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 25.

Please note that there are two different Funding Request Forms that may be submitted by an agency. The Instruction Information Form provides explanation relating to their differences.

If agency representatives have a preference on hearing date or time, they are asked to identify the preference along with the submission of the Funding Request Form material. Requests will be honored on a first come/first served basis.
