Three Business Programs Slated for September

Programs offering valuable information to entrepreneurs are coming in September to the Schaumburg Township District Library, 130 S. Roselle Rd., Schaumburg. All three programs are free, but require registration.

"ABC's For Business Success" will take place from 7-8:30 p.m., Monday, Sept. 14, in the library's Adult Classroom. Tempia Courts, Attorney at Law, will cover critical considerations for anyone interested in business success. She will include tips for seeking input from key advisors, selecting the proper business structure for your venture, assessing your cash position, identifying your customers and solidifying your connections.

"DemographicsNow" is slated from 7-9 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 23, in the Adult Classroom. Participants will learn search strategies that combine population, geographics, consumer lifestyles, income and other critical data. Presenter and Customer Education Specialist Dinah Ramirez will also demonstrate how to track demographic trends, segmentation data, consumer expenditure information and business data.

"Solid Foundations in HR" will be held from 7-8:30 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 28 in the library's Adult Classroom. Human Resources Consultant Kristi Czapiewski will present an overview of key functions that are typically handled by a dedicated human resources staff member. Participants will learn about basic human resources to more complex employee challenges.
