Support helped make benefit successful

As chairman of the Cruisin' With The Classics Car Club of Grand Dominion in Mundelein, and on behalf of all the volunteers of this event, I would like to extend our grateful appreciation the weekly announcements published in the Daily Herald leading up to our successful event. Through these efforts, along with those of our volunteers, car enthusiasts and local businesses, we were able to collect four full pickup truck loads of nonperishable food supplies, as well as approximately $1,800 in donated funds.

The People's Choice Award photograph, taken by our resident professional photographer, Char Bayerle, and the overview written by Mary Quinn Boyd properly express out appreciation to those in and around our community.

Thank you for helping support us in our efforts to provide assistance to the less fortunate.
