Six new businesses coming to Long Grove

Historic downtown Long Grove is getting six new businesses, Long Grove Business and Community Partners announced Wednesday.

Four of the businesses - Fidelity Wes Builders, 2 Fancie Gals, Scout and Forge and UnWined of Long Grove - are already open, while White Oak Gourmet and J Scott Salon are coming soon.

• Fidelity Wes Builders, 201 Robert Parker Coffin Road, owned by Mike DeMar, is a custom luxury homebuilder. The business also specialize in kitchen and bathroom renovations. The website is www.fidelitywes.com.

• 2 Fancie Gals, 118 Old McHenry Road, owned and operated by Riley and Cindy McGaughy, offers a wide variety of repurposed furniture and custom pieces. They will collaborate with customers to revamp outdated home furniture. The website is www.2fanciegals.wix.com/shop.

• Scout and Forge, 427 Robert Parker Coffin Road, is owned and operated by Matthew Potempa and Meghan Mariani. Scout and Forge sells curated vintage, reclaimed furnishings specializing in vintage Americana design, reclaimed wood furniture and unique home goods. The website is www.scoutandforge.com.

• UnWined of Long Grove, 132 Old McHenry Road, is a cozy place to enjoy wine by the glass or the bottle, selected craft beers, seasonal small plates, Grab N' Go options and retail wine and gifts. Jessica Capek and Maggie Iverson offer guests bar and outdoor seating, plus accommodations for private events. The website is unwinedlonggrove.weebly.com.

• White Oak Gourmet, 251 Robert Parker Coffin Road, set to open in late August, is a personal chef service owned by Tom and Lori Leavitt. White Oak Gourmet is a home meal delivery and catering service that helps busy families by delivering freshly prepared, from scratch meals right to their homes. The business has been serving the Northwest suburbs since 2004. It works with local farmers to provide organic and sustainably produced meat, dairy and produce. • J Scott Salon, 229 Robert Parker Coffin Road, owned and operated by Jeff Pegler, is set to open in September offering personalized salon services for women and men in a comfortable, relaxed and professional atmosphere.
