Jacobs d. Bartlett: The Golden Eagles (1-0) cruised over the Hawks (0-1), 25-21, 25-12, as Kyla Fitzsimmons had 6 kills and 3 digs while Bridget Wallenberger posed 5 kills and 5 digs. Paige Queffelec registered 15 assists while Katie Mahoney also had 4 kills, 4 aces and 3 digs for Jacobs in nonconference action. Bartlett's Suzi Arns had 3 kills and Almira Khan added 7 assists.

Dundee-Crown d. Streamwood: In a nonconference opener, the Chargers (1-0) made quick work of the Sabres 25-3, 25-8. Bre Novak led the way with 6 digs, 6 aces and 3 kills while Ashley Raby and Gina Pagano each had 7 kills. Frankie Cavallaro was good for 18 assists and 5 digs.

St. Edward d. Larkin: Dominque Washington's 11 kills paced the Green Wave (1-0) to a 2-set win over Larkin, 25-15, 25-19. Gabriella Tripicchio also added 12 assists. Izzy Orozco and Sam Wahl each had 5 kills for Larkin (0-1) while Natalie Kofie collected 14 assists. April McGhee led the Royals with 11 digs.

Sycamore d. Hampshire: The Whip-Purs (0-1) lost in 2 sets 25-22, 25-15, as Louie Peralta had 3 kills, Allie Peters had 3 digs and Hannah Dalby and Meagan Heine each dished 3 assists.
