Dundee-Crown 4, Harlem 0: It was the Freddy Martinez-Julian Ajroja show in Rockford, as Ajroja served up a hat trick while Martinez flushed a penalty kick and tallied all 3 assists in a nonconference win. Goalie Luis Cruz made 6 saves in net for the Chargers (1-0).

Jacobs 2, Metea Valley 0: Kurtis Preis nailed home a win for the Golden Eagles (1-0), scoring a goal in each half in nonconference action. Gabe Swarthout and Ean Wilson came away with assists while keeper Eduwardo Guimaray made 6 saves.

CL South 2, Mundelein 2: An own goal in the second half prevented the Gators (0-0-1) from a season-opening nonconference win. Defender Jake Canfield and midfielder Ryan Coughlin each tallied first-half goals while Andrew Grabowski and Nikolas Getzinger added assists. Keeper Spencer Traub collected 7 saves.

Huntley 1, Boylan 1: The Red Raiders (0-0-1) rallied from a Titan goal in the eighth minute with an equalizer from Allan Barientos in the second half for a nonconference tie. Aryon Shariati had the lone assist while keepers Michael Parks and Andrew Fulcer had 3 saves each.
