Bartlett fire victim identified as 95-year-old resident

The DuPage County Coroner's Office has identified the woman killed in a Bartlett house fire Saturday as 95-year-old Maura Wills, a resident of the home.

State and local authorities are continuing to investigate the fatal fire that caused an estimated $1 million damage to the house on the 500 block of Litchfield Lane, but do not believe the cause to be suspicious.

Firefighters from the Bartlett Fire Protection District were called to the house at about 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Wills was found in a first-floor bedroom, where investigators believe the fire originated.
