Pets to parade at the Wauconda Farmers Market

Area pet lovers will join together on Thursday, August 27, in downtown Wauconda for the fifth annual "Back to Drool" Pet Parade.

Bark 'N' Town, Wauconda Animal Hospital and the Wauconda Area Chamber of Commerce welcome all pet owners to the Wauconda Farmers Market to let their pets strut their stuff with multiple contests.

Pets will have the opportunity to shine in the parade with the "Best Pep Rally Float" contest or show off their team colors with the "School Spirit" contest.

Entries for multiple categories are allowed and every pet entered has a chance to win "Teacher's Pet" (best in show).

Registration forms and parade policies are available online at tinyurl.com/2015petparade, or stop in at Bark 'N' Town pet resort and day spa, at 27607 W. Brandenburg Road, Ingleside, to pick up a form.

On-site registration begins at 4 p.m. and goes until 5 p.m. in front of Wauconda Area Chamber of Commerce, 100 N Main St., Wauconda.

The annual pet parade and contests begin at 5:30 p.m. in the middle of the Wauconda Farmer's Market., along Main Street in downtown Wauconda.
