New assistant principals named in District 54
Three new assistant principals have been appointed for Schaumburg Township Elementary District 54 schools. Kim Phelan will serve at Mead Junior High School, Megan Ankrom at Blackwell and Hoover elementary schools and Holly Schlicher at Hale and Stevenson elementary schools. Phelan has been an assistant principal at Palos South Middle School in Palos Park for the last three years. Ankrom was previously a math instructional coach in District 54 and a teacher at MacArthur Elementary School in Hoffman Estates. Schlicher was previously both a literacy coach and a teacher at Einstein and Nerge elementary schools in District 54.
