Local chef demonstration in Libertyville

MainStreet Libertyville's farmers market will feature a demonstration by Chef Lee Kuebler of the Milwalky Trace restaurant using produce fresh from the market at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 27. Trained at the culinary school of Chicago's Kendall College, Kuebler has refined his cooking skills at some of the area's best restaurants including Michael in Winnetka and Ada Street in Chicago. Kuebler blends classic French cooking with world influences and highlights local, seasonal food. Future demonstrations highlighting local chefs are scheduled for Sept. 10 and Sept. 24, The farmers market is on Church Street in downtown Libertyville every Thursday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. through Oct. 22.
