Wildcat Night supports West Chicago athletes

Get ready to show your school spirit and support of West Chicago Community High School fall athletes on Friday at Wildcat Night.

The free celebration begins at 4:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, at the school, 326 Joliet St., West Chicago. Festivities are planned in Memorial Stadium (just west of the school) as well as in Bishop Gym and the pool.

Featured fall sports include girls swimming, boys soccer, girls tennis, girls cross-country, girls volleyball, boys and girls golf, and boys football. The event also includes performances by the poms, cheerleaders, and the Wildcat Marching Band. The evening concludes with a football scrimmage beginning at 8 p.m.

The Wildcat Booster Club will sell hot dogs and corn at the concession stand. The corn boil is provided by the Looten's Steam Engine. Spirit wear will be for sale.
