Kayak rental business opens in Batavia
BATAVIA - Kayak Myak Rentals LLC opened recently, providing scenic kayak paddling trips on the Fox River. Co-owners Debbie Colfer and John Wold started the business to share a sport they love. "we started the business together because kayaking is a fun way to get out on the water and relax and enjoy nature," Colfer said. Kayak Myak hosts trips from South Elgin to St. Charles, Carpentersville to Elgin and Batavia to North Aurora for up to three person kayak trips Monday through Fridays during the day and up to eight person trips weekdays after 3 p.m. and weekends.
