Folk Club presents traditional Irish sounds

The Lake County Folk Club will present a concert by Pat Gaughan, L.J. Slavin and Nancy Maio at 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 16, at Fatman Bowl, 13860 Rockland Road, Green Oaks.

Come out to hear traditional Irish, folk and original music. Gaughan's intricate guitar playing and rich voice will be complemented by Slavin's traditional instrumental mastery and Maio's classically trained fiddle.

Together, they are known throughout the Midwest for their warm stage presence.

Singer and guitarist Dave Callan will open the show.

For reservations, call (847) 602-8882. Admission is a suggested donation of $12, $10 for seniors and members and $5 for teens.
