Comic con at Vernon Area library
The Vernon Area Public Library in Lincolnshire will host its second annual Mini Comic Con on Nov. 7. Activities will run from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the library, 300 Olde Half Day Road. Workshops on writing, drawing, superhero makeup and more are planned. A costume contest is on the schedule, too. The event is free and open to anyone. The first 200 people who sign up for an all-day pass get a free bag of goodies. Sign up online at vapld.info or at the information desk on the day of the event.
