Hampshire-Henpeck HCE to install new officers Aug. 18

Hampshire-Henpeck HCE

The Hampshire-Henpeck Unit of Home and Community Education will have a regular meeting at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18, at Heartland Bank, Route 72 and Warner, Hampshire.

The Kane County annual open house meeting originally scheduled for this date has been canceled. Doris Klock will conduct the installation of officers at this meeting. The new officers are: Geraldine Rizik, chairman; Peggy Veach, first vice chairman; Marilyn Dorsey, second vice chairman; Claudia Lake, secretary; and Barbara Mursu, treasurer.

All members are encouraged to attend and bring ideas for the rest of 2015 and 2016. It is never too soon to start thinking of a Christmas project.

At the September meeting, they will have a guest speaker from the Hampshire Pharmacy.
