DVD previews: 'Hot Pursuit,' 'Unfriended'

Here's a look at DVDs coming out Tuesday, Aug. 11:

"Hot Pursuit" (PG-13, 87 minutes, Warner): An uptight and by-the-book cop (Reese Witherspoon) tries to protect the sexy and outgoing widow (Sofia Vergara) of a drug boss as they race through Texas, pursued by crooked cops and murderous gunmen. Contains sexual situations, violence, language and drug material. Extras include "The Womance" on-set crazy-mashup-antics with the stars. Also on Blu-ray: "Say What?" featurette in which the stars try to speak the other's language, "Action Like a Lady" montage of funny action bits and an alternate ending.

"Unfriended" (R, 83 minutes, Universal): Horror thriller in which a seemingly innocent prank starts a sequence of events that spirals out of control. "Unfriended" unfolds over a teenager's computer screen as she and her friends are stalked by an unseen figure who seeks vengeance for a shaming video that led a bully to kill herself. Cast includes Courtney Halverson, Shelley Henning, Renee Olstead, Will Peltz, Heather Sossaman and Moses Jacob Storm. Contains violence, language, sexual situations, and drug and alcohol use involving teens. Blu-ray combo pack includes both a DVD and Digital HD copy of the film.

Also: "Cleveland Abduction," "Eclipse 43: Agnes Varda in California" (three-DVD box set of works by French director Varda), "Hunting Elephants" (Israel), "I Am Big Bird: The Carroll Spinney Story," "i-Lived," "Match," "Max Steel: Go, Turbo!," "The People Under the Stairs (Collector's Edition)," "Police Story: Lockdown" and "Power Rangers Super Megaforce: The Legendary Battle."

Television series: "Dig: Season One," "Hell on Wheels: The Complete Fourth Season," "Kendra on Top: Season 3," "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit - The Sixteenth Year," "MythBusters Collection 13," "Person of Interest: The Complete Fourth Season" and "2 Broke Girls: The Complete Fourth Season."
