James Finn Garner to Speak at Lisle Library

James Finn Garner, international best-selling author of Politically Correct Bedtime Stories, et al, will be speaking at the Lisle Library on Thursday, August 20 at 1 p.m.

Garner will be discussing American Baseball as the national pastime, not only on the field, but in all forms of entertainment.

"There is something about baseball that can bring us together," said Garner. "The slow pace, the summer evening, the beer, the neighbors in the stands--is there any friendlier place than a ball park?"
