Labor Day 5K walk/run
Waukegan Township presents its annual 5K for Labor Day run/walk Saturday, Sept. 5, at the Independence Grove Forest Preserve District in Libertyville. Formerly known as the Park Place walk/run, the 3.5-mile event helps support programs for adults 55 and older. To register, visit www.waukegantownship.com, call (847) 244-9242 or in person at 414 S.
