Learn about the conditions in Illinois for installing solar energy and the national outlook during the next decade at the next Green Drinks meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7. The program at O'Toole's of Libertyville, 412 N. Milwaukee Ave., features Libertyville resident and 2011 Illinois Community Educator of the Year Dave Wilms. He helped with the installation of the solar arrays at Highland Middle and Butterfield elementary schools, said to be the largest on schools in the Midwest. Visit www.greendrinks.org to RSVP.
