Beer connoisseurs flock to Wheaton Brew Fest

Hundreds of folks drank good beer for a good cause Saturday in Wheaton.

Proceeds from the Wheaton Brew Fest, which drew its largest crowd in five years at 208 W. Union Ave., will be divided between the DuPage County Historical Museum Foundation and CASA DuPage, which pairs volunteers with abused, neglected and dependent children to advocate on their behalf in the county's juvenile court system.

Attendees sampled more than 80 beers from 33 local and national brewers.
