Introducing a new column of INfrequently Asked Questions

To our Readers,

There are interesting stories all over the suburbs, and we do our best to get to them.

Even so, there are a lot of stories that don't get told, stories of everyday people who do fascinating things but don't call attention to themselves when doing them.

We make it our job to know the suburbs, and we bump into people like this a lot. But there never seems to be a place in the paper to put their stories.

That's why we've created INfrequentlyAsked Questions. It's a weekly Q&A that will try to tell those stories every Sunday. Or rather, it's a spot in the paper that's going to introduce you to these interesting people, and then get the reporter out of the way so they can tell you their stories themselves.

We start with Brandon Orna, an Ironman triathlete who's never run a marathon unless a long-distance swim and bike race were added to it.

Did I mention that he abhors swimming in a pool?

We hope you enjoy it.

As always, thanks for reading.
