So-called 'deal' only helps Iran

If Sec. State John Kerry had negotiated the Versailles Treaty, World War I would have ended with the United States surrendering to Germany. Contrary to their self-delusional pronouncements, standard modus operandi for the Obama administration, there is very little if anything Iran gave up while this deal was in the Iranian government's own words "a victory."

I have heard a litany of complaints and criticisms of this "nuclear deal" but I think regardless of the full terms and details yet to emerge, there are three very salient and irrefutable outcomes of this "deal."

Even if Iran does not cheat, which is as likely as Putin's Russia giving Crimea back to Ukraine, they will be able to have a nuclear weapon in 10 years.

This radical, belligerent, rogue nation will then have a seat at the table of world super powers and be able to dictate their fundamental, extremist doctrines worldwide.

Iran is recognized by all other nations as a sponsor of global terrorism and supports pro-Iranian regimes in places like Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq. Lifting the current sanctions will open frozen bank accounts and open economic opportunities worth literally tens of billions of dollars.

How much havoc and outright bloodshed will result from Iran having all this money to funnel into militant groups bent on the destruction of the United States, Israel, and democracies around the world?

Does anybody think that Turkey, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and other Middle East countries will sit idly by while Iran becomes a nuclear power? What the Obama administration has now done is unleash a nuclear arms race. Heaven help us all once this volatile region is armed with weapons of mass destruction.
