Nisen & Elliott, Carlson Partners to combine
CHICAGO - Law firms Nisen & Elliott LLC of Chicago and Carlson Partners Ltd of Lombard announced they have combined practices. The new firm will have more than 20 lawyers and will operate under the banner of Nisen & Elliott LLC. Members of Nisen, which represents diverse clients throughout the country, said the addition of real estate and corporate lawyer Roger Carlson and his legal staff gives their Chicago office added depth that can handle the largest and most complex transactions. Lawyers at both firms say their combination comes at a strategic time because they expect to see an increase in real estate development and commercial transactions with the improving economy.
