COD Foundation Presents Fall Retirement Planning Series
The College of DuPage Foundation's Planned Giving Advisory Council will present the free Fall Retirement Planning Seminar Series for people preparing for retirement or who are already there.
Four one-hour sessions will provide tips and professional advice to help people plan wisely for their retirement. Each of the following sessions will be held twice on each day - at 12:30 and 4 p.m.
Wednesday, Aug. 12: Accumulation
This session is for individuals and families who are balancing financial goals and competing priorities. Learn how developing and executing a long-term financial plan can help achieve your goals.

Wednesday, Sept. 23: Pre-Retirement
This session is for people who are transitioning their financial priorities toward retirement planning. Learn how planning options and strategies impact quality of life and independence in retirement.

Wednesday, Oct. 21: Retirement Investment Strategies
This session provides real-life information to help you understand how taxes, inflation and investment management determine the quality of your retirement and how to avoid common pitfalls.

Wednesday, Nov. 18: Estate Conservation
Understand the fundamentals for planning and managing a future estate as well as some of the problems, delays and expenses that often accompany intestacy and probate. Also covered are estate distribution techniques associated with wills and trusts as a vehicle that can help you overcome the challenges of estate distribution.
