End the season with a Schaumburg Park District Summer Picnic, presented by Schaumburg Bank & Trust

Say goodbye to summer at the Schaumburg Park District's final summer picnic of the year.

The District's annual summer picnic, sponsored by Schaumburg Bank & Trust, a Wintrust Community Bank, will be a celebration of summer from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., Aug. 13 at Volkening Lake, 900 W. Schaumburg Road. The picnic will feature unlimited use of a moon-bounce inflatable, carnival games, barbecue, face painting and music.

"There's nothing more American than a good old fashioned summer barbecue," said Heather Hagstrom, aquatics supervisor. "Residents who visit Volkening Lake will have a wonderful time and make some great summer memories."

Admission is $5 per person and includes all activities, a hot dog or brat, chips and a drink.
