Shut down U.S.-Mexican border

I cannot understand some of the people in this country wanting our southern border to be open. Don't they realize what is happening or don't they care?

People like Rep. Louis Gutierrez for one. The drug trade coming across the border, I believe, is the cause of 90% of the shootings in the large cities in this country.

Mr. Gutierrez is a bleeding heart for the illegals. But what about all the kids that get hooked on the poison coming form Mexico. And the kids being shot because of the drug wars. I do not hear any mention of this from him or the president. Seems to me that their only concern is the illegals.

Do you ever hear Michelle Obama mention this? She comes with the smoke screen about school lunches. To me that is nonsense. The Mexican government is corrupt.

If the people of Mexico do not have the guts to fight for their own country, I do not believe that they would fight for ours.

Shut down our borders, save our kids and let Mexico worry about theirs.
