Taste of Lincolnshire delivers good food, fun

The three-day Taste of Lincolnshire is in full swing at Village Green Retail Center at the northeast corner of Olde Half Day Road and Milwaukee Avenue in Lincolnshire.

The weekend event features food from restaurants, such as The Fresh Market, the Prairie House Restaurant and the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort. Chefs from select restaurants will perform cooking demonstrations.

The festival's entertainment schedule will showcase a variety of local bands playing a range of music from rock to Latin dance.

With live music in the background, families can participate in child-friendly activities, such as touch-a-truck and face painting. Magicians performing magic tricks and balloon artists making balloon creations will also be present.

The festival continues from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, July 26.
