Author appearances: Anderson's to host Sherrilyn Kenyon's 'Dragonbane' event

• New York Times best-selling author Sherrilyn Kenyon will be on hand to sign copies of her latest "Dark-Hunter" novel, "Dragonbane," at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, at the Chicago Marriott Naperville, 1801 N. Naper Blvd., Naperville. The event features a DJ, a costume contest, a Q&A session with Kenyon and photo opportunities. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are free, but are required.
