No autopsy results yet in Arlington Heights man's lake death

An autopsy has been completed, but the results aren't yet being released for an Arlington Heights man who died in a Wisconsin lake on Wednesday night.

Scott Apel, 49, was pulled from Delavan Lake in southern Wisconsin around 9 a.m. Thursday after he went missing about 11 p.m. the night before, police said.

Apel, of Arlington Heights, was out on a boat with three co-workers when they decided to go for a swim, said Sgt. Erik Voss of the Delavan Police Department. Apel went under, and his friends could not find him.

Officials said they are still notifying Apel's family about the cause of death and will release the results sometime Monday.
