Images: #TBT Gallery revisits the 1987 DuPage County Fair

That annual summer tradition, the DuPage County Fair, has opened at the fairgrounds in Wheaton. This week in our #TBT gallery, we are featuring photos from the 1987 fair.

Some things have changed over the years, including the admission price, up from $4 to 2015's $10. DuPage County was more rural 26 years ago with operating farms. Now, the animals are imported from surrounding counties, but the family fun is still the same.

Classic fair food, agricultural demonstrations, commercial exhibits and contest-winning food is on display, and of course, the carnival rides are there to entertain everyone.
