Punishment for giving opinion?

There's been people from the beginning of our country out there fighting for our freedom and that freedom should include the freedom of speech.

If someone is seeing things or hearing things they think is not right to them they should have the right to give their opinion. And the powers that be should not have the right to punish them for saving what they think.

I think there's more bad than good crossing the Mexican border into the United States, which is no fault of the Mexican people, but the Mexican government and the U.S. government.

How are the powers that be going to find a way to punish me for saying that?
