Help for Quitting Tobacco is Here

Tobacco users in Lake County now have an easy way to find help for quitting tobacco. A group of community partners has collaborated to offer local resources to help people quit using tobacco. The Lake County Health Department and Community Health Center, Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital, Advocate Condell Medical Center, Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital, and Erie Clinic have developed a brochure, which outlines all the local resources for assistance in quitting tobacco.

This comprehensive brochure is designed to be used by both individuals and health care providers. While some individuals reach out to their health care providers for support, others choose to seek out their own assistance. With this brochure, people will have local resources at their fingertips, with options to fit anyone's needs and comfort level. Health care providers will have a convenient resource for referral options.

The Tobacco Free Lake County program of the Lake County Health Department realizes quitting can be a difficult process. If you are thinking about quitting, but don't know what to do next, you can find a copy of this brochure on the Health Department's website at:
