Memoir lessons at Gurnee library
Gurnee's Warren-Newport Public Library will offer lessons on memoir writing. It'll be a two-session writing workshop called Memoir with Panache. The workshops will be at the library at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, and Tuesday, July 28. Participants will receive writing exercises from Debra Schwartz, an instructor at Arizona State University. The workshop will be designed to allow participants to draw stories from their memories, with humor and fun. Register online at wnpl.info or call (847) 244-5150, extension 4.
