Morry Sochat and Special 20s to perform free concert in Hoffman Estates

The Hoffman Estates Arts Commission and Hoffman Estates Park District welcome Morry Sochat and The Special 20s to the Village Green in the western part of the village at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 23, as part of the "Summer Sounds on the Green" concert series.

The band will rock the amphitheater with a mix of classic Chicago blues, swing and rock 'n' roll from the '50s as influenced by the best in blues history.

This free concert is the fifth in a series of eight summer shows. All performances take place on Thursday evenings at 7 p.m. The Virginia Mary Hayter Village Green is at 5510 Prairie Stone Parkway across the street from the Sears Centre Arena off Route 72 in the Poplar Creek at 59/90 entertainment district.
