Lefar returns to District 102 school board
The Aptakisic-Tripp School District 102 board of education has appointed Steven Lefar to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of former member Lenny Ostach.
Lefar, of Buffalo Grove, previously served on the school board from 2007 until earlier this year, but chose not to run for re-election in April. His expertise in finance and experience working with District 102 will be an asset to the board, according to a statement from the district.
Lefar will serve until the April 2017 election.
