Seminar will offer tips for seniors
State Rep. Marty Moylan and the University of Illinois Extension Office are hosting a senior health and wellness seminar in Des Plaines on Friday.
The event is scheduled between 11 a.m. and noon at the Frisbie Senior Center, 52 Northwest Highway.
Organizers are planning a presentation on how to prevent falls and sharing ideas that can allow older adults to stay independent. A snack will be provided at the end of the presentation.
