'Bullitt' screening to benefit Barrington family
Highgate Motors of Barrington is hosting a screening of the 1968 Steve McQueen classic "Bullitt" Saturday at the Catlow Theater to benefit a local family in need.
Instead of paying admission, moviegoers will have the opportunity to make a donation to support Jennifer DeBord Hansen, who was diagnosed last year with an aggressive form of cancer at the age of 36.
According to a statement by Highgate Motors on the village's website, 100 percent of the donations will go directly to her and her family.
The screening of "Bullitt" will take place at noon on Saturday at the Catlow, 116 W. Main St.
