Hoffman Estates offering school physicals, shots

The village of Hoffman Estates Department of Health and Human Services will offer back-to-school physicals and immunizations for school-age children at the Children's Immunization Clinic Monday, Aug. 3.

A second clinic for school-age children, held on Aug. 17, will offer immunizations only. Both clinics will be held from 3:30 to 6 p.m. at village hall, 1900 Hassell Road.

The cost for a physical is $10 for those who are underinsured, uninsured or have AllKids (cash or check only).

Each vaccine and TB test costs $8 for residents of Hoffman Estates, Elk Grove Village and Schaumburg, and $10 for all other communities.

Appointments for these clinics are recommended but walk-ins will be accepted. Immunization records are required.

Physicals on Aug. 3 are by appointment only. Call Health and Human Services at (847) 781-4850 to schedule an appointment or for more information.
