Area Restaurants Help Clare Woods Academy and Cupertino home

For the past two years, a fundraising highlight for Clare Woods Academy (Wheaton) and Cupertino Home (Warrenville) has been the "Eatin' Wheaton" Raffle item. Twice annually, local area restaurants donate gift cards and vouchers. These items are combined to form a valuable raffle basket at Gala Dinner Dance in March and the golf outing in June. Donating establishments include Adele's, Bricks, Butterfield's Pancake House, Carol's Garden, Cellar Bistro, Chic-fil-a, Egg Harbor, Flip-Flop Tiki Bar, Gia Mia Pizza Bar, Gino's East, Graham's Chocolate, The Ivy, Morton's Steak House, Subway and Yogli Mogli Yogurt. 'The Academy relocated to Wheaton in 2013. It is great to see our community businesses support our mission", stated Mr. John Utterback, Executive Director of Clare Woods Academy and Cupertino Home. That mission is to assist children and adults with developmental and learning disabilities to become self-sufficient and self-directed in areas of personal growth, general health, education, social and emotional well-being and functional living skills.
