Heather Glaser Joins Lavelle Law

A series of recent new hires has allowed Lavelle Law, Ltd, the Palatine-based law firm, to expand to a total of twenty-two attorneys. The latest addition is attorney Heather L. Glaser, a resident of nearby Inverness.

Glaser is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association and the Women's Bar Association of Illinois. In addition to holding a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Illinois, Glaser earned her law degree at Chicago-Kent College of Law and is certified in Mediation and Litigation/Alternative Dispute Resolution.

"The partners and I were impressed with Heather's background and thought that her education and law experience would be an ideal fit for our firm," said Kerry Lavelle who launched the practice in 1989. "We continue to seek exceptional attorneys who can serve our trusted clients well but who also understand and commit to the culture of our practice."

It was that culture that attracted Glaser to Lavelle Law. "The firm was built on a tax practice and has expanded to serve a wide range of personal and corporate needs," Glaser noted. "I look forward to advocating on behalf of my clients in areas of health law, corporate law, and business formation and organization or other areas as needed."

The firm has been highly regarded for an unyielding commitment to community involvement and Glaser has already built a reputation in that area serving as the girls' basketball coach at Immanuel Lutheran School in Palatine.

Lavelle Law, Ltd. was founded as Lavelle Legal Services in 1989. It has since grown from a single attorney practice emphasizing matters of tax law to a twenty-two attorney firm with more than a dozen practice groups. All attorneys in the firm write articles on various legal topics, regularly participate to the firm's weekly free podcast series "Chicago's Legal Latte", and contribute to a growing library of instructional videos.

The firm has been consistently recognized for its commitment to local community events and has received numerous awards and commendations for their efforts on behalf of various charities and organizations. For more information visit www.lavellelaw.com or follow the firm on Twitter @LavelleLaw.
