St. Charles street resurfacing program gets underway

The City of St. Charles is beginning its 2015 Street Program Resurfacing project June 29, weather permitting.

Letters have been mailed to area residents who may be affected by the construction, with the exception of Peck Road where roadway construction signs will be placed in advance of that work starting.

• North Tyler Road: August to October, pending IEPA permit approval

• Peck Road: July - September

"It's important to have streets in good working order for safe, reliable transportation throughout the community," said Civil Engineering Project Coordinator Gary Long. "The city works hard to keep our streets and infrastructure well-maintained."
