John Winand joins Northbrook Bank & Trust Board of Directors

Northbrook Bank & Trust recently elected John Winand as a new board director. As a director, Mr. Winand will provide oversight on the bank's overall performance, strategic direction, and key corporate policies.

"John has been active in the local community for many years and I'm certain that his broad experience will complement his new board position well," said Northbrook Bank & Trust CEO Douglas P. Boersma. "John is a longstanding and well-respected member of the Glenview community, where he has lived and worked for many years. I am thrilled to have him on board as we advance our business efforts with the recent opening of Glenview Bank & Trust."

Winand has been a Glenview or Northbrook resident his entire life. In 1978, he opened his law practice, which focuses on residential and commercial real estate transactions, estate planning and corporate commercial affairs, in Glenview. His practice has also allowed him to interact with local Glenview governmental boards in regards to different development and zoning issues.

Winand has been a Glenview resident for nearly 30 years and has stayed active in the local community. He has served as a director for the Glenview Chamber of Commerce, and board member and president of both the Glenview/Golf United Way and the Glenview Park District.
