Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff Realty Group's Michael Mazzei Helps Habitat for Humanity Kick Off Building On! Program
GLENVIEW, IL -Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff Realty Group in conjunction with the KoenigRubloff Cares Foundation, kicked off a six month long initiative with Chicagoland Habitat for Humanity called Building On! Chicagoland Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization that partners with individuals in need of affordable housing throughout the Chicago region. The Building On! program engages corporate sponsors and employee groups in building Habitat homes across the region.
"It's very hard work, but it's so gratifying," said Michael Mazzei, Senior Vice President and Regional Managing Broker for Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff Realty Group's Glenview Office. Mazzei continued, "I love being out here with my colleagues and other people of this community to create an incredible home for a deserving family."

Stacy continued, "This is a true example of an amazing tangible thing that can be built when people come together. We're not only building shelter for these families, but we are building homes where hopefully they can make lasting memories for years to come."
Mazzei, Stacy and their colleagues helped to lay the foundation at three different sites on June 5th: Chicago, Lake County, and DuPage County. On June 26th, more of the Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices KoenigRubloff team participated in the building effort in the same locations by working on trim, paint, and landscape. Offices and agents will continue to have days building until November, when the families of the homes will receive the keys to their homes!
