Ryan Gardner Joins Lavelle Law as an Associate

Ryan W. Gardner, a graduate of DePaul University's College of Law has joined Lavelle Law, Ltd. in Palatine as an Associate. The firm now consists of twenty-two attorneys including five partners.

Before receiving his law degree, Gardner earned a B.A. in Psychology from Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. At DePaul Gardner received a Business Law Certificate and externed for the Honorable Aurelia Pucinski of the Illinois Appellate Court.

Gardner has begun contributing to the Estate Planning and Business Law Practice Groups at the firm. In addition to focusing on estate planning, wills and trusts, and trust administration, Gardner will also work on Medicaid benefits planning and business succession needs of new and existing clients at Lavelle Law.

"Ryan will contribute to several of our most successful practice groups, particularly the Estate Planning group," said Kerry Lavelle. "We have built an outstanding reputation in that area, not only for our legal work but for the manner in which we provide personal service and I know Ryan will continue to uphold that reputation."

Gardner, who is a member of the Chicago, Illinois State, and American Bar Associations, was quick to acknowledge that the service element is critical in his profession. "For me, it comes down to empathy and understanding, and being able to connect with and relate to my clients," Gardner said. "This mindset allows me to provide the same kind of legal representation that I would want in my own attorney."

Lavelle Law, Ltd. was founded as Lavelle Legal Services in 1989. It has since grown from a single attorney practice emphasizing matters of tax law to a twenty-two attorney firm with more than a dozen practice groups.
