For the second year, the College will host the Food Truck Rally, which will feature popular Chicago and DuPage mobile eateries from two to 7 p.m. Also open during this time will be the Kid Zone, featuring activities for the whole family. The 100-Yard Youth Dash will begin at 5:30 p.m. on the football stadium track and is for kids 12 and under, with two divisions being contested - ages 4 to 7 and ages 8 to 12.

The 5K awards include a $200 Visa gift card for the Top Overall male and female runners and the "Middle of the Pack" winner. Medals will be awarded to the top three male and female age group winners.

This year's event will feature a newly designed course minus any hairpin turns.

Participants can register individually or as a team for the 5K. Team prizes will also be awarded for the fastest team and the fan favorite. All 5K race participants are eligible to win a free iPad and will receive a long-sleeved technical T-shirt and a gift bag that includes a $2 Food Truck Rally voucher.

Valid through Sunday, July 5, participants can sign up for any 5K registration and be charged for the cost of the calendar date. For example, participants who register on Monday, June 29 will pay only $6.29. Click here to register now.

Advance registration is $25 for individuals, $5 for currently enrolled COD students (limitations apply), and $5 for the 100-Yard Chaps Dash. A $5 discount is available for Chicago Area Runners Association members. Online registration is available through 5 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 15.
