Schools show value of nutrition, structure

Yes we can!

Thank you Melissa Silverberg and the Daily Herald for shining light on the one issue that is impeding the continued success of our nation. An educated and healthy school population is key to keeping our society strong and resilient in the decades to come.

Having infants born who are nutritionally sound and continue to be nutritionally healthy combined with teachers and parents who understand that schoolchildren need structure and discipline is key to success for them and our society.

We must duplicate and expand the success formulas across all school districts in the country for uplifting this society. You are showing us the way.

It is already being done by Vitamin Angels who are jump starting the process by making sure all children in hundreds of schools across this nation are receiving the key nutrients for good health.

Google “Dr. Leslie Matthews and Vitamin Angels” and learn. The sunshine vitamin is key. Google “nutritionexercise N2E” and learn about vitamin D.

The right answers are available and the Daily Herald is to be complimented for starting a national dialogue on the issue.
