Music, food, fun at Wauconda Fest

Business water fights, music and food were among the offerings Saturday at Wauconda Fest in Cook Park.

Families took advantage of an unlimited ride special in the afternoon and special kids cupcake decorating and craft event was also held.

Other highlights included the business water fights, Varro police dog demonstration and an adults bags tournament. Musical entertainment included the Piano Man, Mason Rivers and Hi Infidelity.

The festival runs through Sunday, which will feature a 5K/10K challenge, a car and craft show, kids activities and music. Festival hours are noon to 9 p.m.
